That's Entertainment

I have been chosen to play the male lead opposite Della Allen in the two-part play "That's Entertainment" by Phil Preece, Directed by Paulo Allen and produced by Nobody's Perfect Productions!!!, I am playing "Vince"

Act 1 - Mr Blue Sky

They say if you can remember the sixties you weren't there. Well ageing rocker Vince Meager was. And it's true - he can't. Or the seventies. Actually the eighties are a bit of a blur, and as for the nineties...

He's still going the rounds playing the old hits after nearly forty years, but when a young fan comes backstage to see him after the show he finds she's looking for more than an autograph. And Vince begins to discover feelings his rock and roll lifestyle has left no time for - until now.

Been rushed off my feet!! Appearing at Havana, Exeter this Sunday (7th), booked for the Hobb's Farm Music Festival for 4Sight - the Charity for the visually impaired - as compere in September!! Slimming World group absolutely amazing with weight loss so far (in 5 weeks) 283 lbs or 20st 3lbs!!!!!

Politicians

Who do they think they are? More important what do they think WE are?? Every MP except the ones who didn't claim any expenses should be removed, keep the rest, hold an election and start again! But this time - no more Mr Nice Guy - if they step out of line they have to go and work in McDonalds for a year with no-stars!! Thievin' B'Stards!! LOL

SLIMMING WORLD - FIGHTING OBESITY

Believe it or not I have been accepted as a SLIMMING WORLD Consultant - I start training next Monday and hope to open my first group open on the 20th April! I have struggled with my weight for years and Slimming World has allowed me to control it!! I have lost 2 stone 4 lbs since January!

INTERVIEW With Pod Fiction

Hello there - recorded a 10 minute interview with Shekiel Iqbal this afternoon - such a nice bloke - and we had a laugh about this and that - of which I know very little! He said "What do you think of this?" and I said...."Oh I don't think much of that!" anyway thanks again to Shekiel for the kind thoughts.

COMIC RELIEF - WESTSIDE FM

Just got back from Westside FM in Southall - played a new song - told a few stories and - had a right laugh with some of the nicest people and saw Southall for the first time - absolutely loved it! Talk about a vibrant community - I've never seen so many people out on the streets since the '60s - and real individual shops - not the usual multi-nationals that all look the same. All that and got a big "shout out" for WWW.GUAAFRICA.COM ! just the BEST day!

Following the weekend's news about Ireland, Afghanistan and Iraq I wonder what would happen if all the soldiers in the world said "Ah fuck it!" and just went home?!

RESPECT

Following a comment from someone at a gig last week can I just say that my Tribute Act is performed with Total respect for Mr Connolly. In no way am I "taking the mick" - he has my admiration for how he has handled his career etc and just because I sometimes perform without the "swearies" does not mean that I disapprove. There - that's off my chest! NOW - I see they've found a food that stops women from ever needing to have sex again - it's called WEDDING CAKE!!!!

Well here's another week - Spring is just around the cornoer - cornoer? - my typing is getting worse and I've run out of Tippex! Corner. Ah well - back to the Banjo practise!
