HULLO!! - HOW ARE YE DOIN'?

Welcome to my Billy Connolly Tribute website - or as Sir Sean Connery says "Welcome to my webshite!"

The first time I met Billy he said "I bet you get some stick lookin' like that!" - imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

I have appeared across the U.K./Europe as Billy Connolly at festivals, comedy clubs, parties, Burn's Suppers, weddings and product launches since 1999.

You can find how to book me by Googling "Billy Connolly Tribute Act"

KILMARNOCK!!!.....

Last Tuesday evening - attended opening night of "DEAR BILLY" - a new play by Gary McNair @garymcnair, Directed by Joe Douglas at the Palace Theatre. We turned up unannounced for the show and bumped into Joe Douglas at the door. Joe was totally taken aback and grabbed me!! He says "I can't believe I am hugging BILLY CONNOLLY!!!" I had to whisper in his ear "I'm no' really Billy!" Joe was unconvinced until my wife Marian came over and said "What's going on here, then?" Embarrassed introductions followed! (I wisnae even dressed like Billy - nae roond specs or anything!) Great show BTW! - THEN - Wednesday lunchtime had the best time with the folks at St Marnock's Place. 12.30pm "show" (actually I sat round a table with Janet, Nessie, Rose & Eddie, Alex & Janet, Auld Hugh and Big Hugh (The Ballachulish Butcher!) We had a sing-song to wellies, divorce, etc, told loads of jokes and stories and had a 15 minute break for Fish&Chips!!! Also did a "Get Well Soon" video for Isabel who was missing on the day! Great fun!!
